All About Design Days
You may have heard me mention our newest service called “Design Day”. It is our newest service that we are excited to roll out to new and existing clients!
What does a Design Day and who is it actually for?
Design days offer our clients a quick turnaround design solution that they are able to implement themselves immediately! This service is perfect for those just needing a bit of design guidance, but who are willing to place product orders themselves or coordinate with their own tradespeople.
We will meet with you virtually or in-person to review the space in question, present our solution via a digital design board with products links, & provide one support call after the designated design day to answer questions.
Client’s Design Day Responsibilities:
-Meet virtually or in-person with SLD to review the space in question.
-Provide any design inspiration images.
-Review Design Day Board/List of Products
-Order items & handle delivery & install of all items.
Who is a good fit for a Design Day service?
-Those looking to finish off a space or two with a few pieces.
-Clients who own existing furniture pieces, but just need a few more touches & expert design advice.
-Those looking for a quick turnaround who are willing to put in a little bit of legwork in ordering from a curated list of items.
Who is not a good fit for a Design Day service & what are the other options?
-Clients who are wanting help with an entire floor or home. We offer full scale design services that would be a much better fit!
-Clients needing detailed drawings. The beauty of our Design Day service is the quick-turnaround, so detailed drawings would not fit within this quick timeline. Instead, our full service design packages would allow for detailed drawings.
-Clients who do not want to manage the order & delivery process. We totally get it, which is why we offer our popular full scale interior design services where we handle the order, tracking, delivery, & installation of all items.
What does a Design Day actually look like?
After a short discovery call to ensure we are a good fit, we will book your Design Day service. On that designated day we will meet in person or virtually to review the room(s) in question. Then, you will sit back and relax while our team diligently works back at the office to put together a design & coordinating product list. Within 24-48 business hours, our team will present the design to you & book a Post-Design Day call. You will order any items from our curated list or coordinate with any trades such as painters. You will gather your list of questions that pop up and share them during our Post-Design Day call. Final Step: You will relax & unwind while enjoying the new updates to your space!
